The Wednesday 1 walks will recommence on 12th March at 10.30am with the walk at Lo Pepin from Ave de las Regantes, Lo Pepin, off Lemon Tree Road. Guardamar Campo.     N 38°03'53'' W 0°41'50'' the walk will be led by Steve Davey leaving La Marina at 10am.

 Due to a bereavement I have to return to UK for an unknown period therefore all the Wednesday 1 walks are cancelled until further notice.

 The walk on Wednesday 5th February is "Vinilopo" meeting at Restaurant Martino on the Dolores to Elche road. We will be leaving La Marina at 9.45. There is a coffee stop on this walk.

The walk on  January 29th was Parque Montaña at Albatera. However due to people getting lost and arriving late at the meeting point we had decided to shorten the route. There in lay another problem the Parque was locked and closed so we walked the back part of the route. This improvised route was a steady climb from 196m to 303m of 2.5kms. Fortunately the return route was downhill. When we arrived back at the car park we found a small notice on the overhead spar of the entrance which informed us that Parque is only open on Festivals,Saturday and Sundays. 13 Walkers attended on a pleasant but overcast day.
