Because of the restrictions being imposed as from Monday by the Government . Rod and I have decided to cancel the Wednesday 1 walks until the restrictions are lifted. Keep watching this space for any updates. Hope everyone stays well.

The next walk on Wednesday 18th March is at Lo Pepin and not Orihuela Campo as per the programme. We will be leaving La Marina at 9.45am.
As we all know the Coronavirus is continuing to effect every day life and impose certain restrictions, please watch the blog or the facebook page for information on any restrictions which may be imposed which effect the walking group.
The walk on Wednesday 11th March, well done to the 43 walkers who attended the walk and completed the 6.2kms. It is the shortest walk we do but is probably the hardest in relation to the height gained which was 138metres. It was unfortuneate for some that the walk fell on the hottest day of the year so far and caused some dificulties but at least everyone finished okay. In the pictures for this walk I have included the elevation profile so the ups and downs of the walk can be seen.

The walk on Wednesday 11th March is a "Walk on the wild side". This walk is only just 6kms but is up and down on uneven ground. There is no coffee stop so bring a drink. We will be leaving La Marina at 9.45am.
Note: the walk on Wednesday 18th March has been changed to Lo Pepin and the walk on the 25th has been changed to Orihuela Campo.
The walk on Wednesday 4th was attended by 43 walkers on a sunny and warm day, it was just under 9.5kms.

Apologies for being late this week but been decorating then away for the weekend. Anyway the walk this week is Vinalopo Campo which is along country lanes and does include a coffee stop. Haven't had time to do anything about last weeks walk yet. We will be leaving La Marina at 10am.
