This weeks walk on Wednesday 1st February is Vinilopo Campo we will be leaving La Marina at 9.45am. this walk is mostly on roads.
The walk last Wednesday was at Barbaroja and attended by only 8 walkers,do people not like walking in the cold because the day was partly cloudy, cold which was made colder when we encountered the wind at the top of the hill. Then to cap it all when we reached our coffee stop the place had no hot water so no coffee. No photos this week because I forgot my phone.
This weeks walk on Wednesday 25th January is Barbaroja we meet at the Restaurant Fogon de fraile on the CV 845 road at Hondon de los Frailes, then continue to the village Barbaroja. we will be leaving La Marina at 9.15am.
Last weeks walk was a Walk on the the Wild side from the Recorral Park at Quesada. Only 9 walkers attended on a sunny but cold day due to the strong wind. Whilst the walk was only 6.6kms it is quite rugged with a few climbs.
The walk on Wednesday 18th January is a Walk on the Wild Side and we will be leaving La Marina at 10am.
The walk on the 11th was at Jacarilla and was attended by 15 walkers on a lovely day for walking. The start of the walk was at an height of 24mtrs above sea level along a lane between lemon and orange groves that steadily ascended to a height of 58mtrs over 3.5kms then a steep walk of half a kilometre to the top of the hill at an height of 109mtrs. The walk was of 7.64kms and was completed in 2hrs.
