As a result of the weather forecast for tomorrow Wednesday 30th March it has been decided to once again cancel the walk. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We have not yet had chance to circulate the programmes for April- May so for everyones benefit the walk on Wednesday 6th April is at Parque de Montana the location of the meeting point is Bar Delfi, at Albatera on the CV873 road to Hondon.   N 38° 10.943`.  W 0° 52.243`. N 38°10’ 56.75''. W 0°52’ 14.80''. from where we will be leaving at 10.30 prompt.

We will be leaving La Marina at 9.30am prompt.

 Just a reminder the walk this week is Rojales Lemon groves and not Orihuela Campo. We will be leaving La Marina at 10am for the market car park at Rojales the cafe is now longer open.

Wednesday 1Walks.

 Due to the recent inclement weather and the fact that the forecast for next week is for still more rain it has been decided to change the the walk on Wednesday 30th March from Orihuela Campo to the walk that should have taken place this week namely the Rojales Lemon Groves. 

Keep watching the Blog and facebook for any updates as to any other changes should the weather fore cast deteriorate further. But as of now next weeks walk will be the Rojales Lemon Groves.

 Due to the inclement weather forecast and the tunnels being flooded the Wednesday 1 walk for tomorrow is cancelled.

 The Wednesday walk this week weather permitting is the Rojales Lemon Groves. We will be leaving La Marina at 10am.

Wednesday 1 walk one on 16th at Montebello with regard to the present weather conditions and the forecast for tomorrow it has been decided to cancel the walk. 

 The next walk on Wednesday 16th March is Montebello which is a walk from the Old Railway station cafe to the Giants Cauldron and return. There is no coffee stop on this walk so remember to bring a drink with you. We will be leaving La Marina at 9.45am prompt.

The walk on Wednesday 9th March from the Cemetary at La Marina was attended by 32 walkers on a fine sunny day. The walkers who completed the walk the distance was8.62kms and for those who took the shortcut back it was 7.3kms.

 The next walk on Wednesday 9th March is from the Cemetary at La Marina and that is where the meeting point is for all walkers and from where we will leave at 10.30am.

The Walk on the wild side on Wednesday 2nd March was attended y 22 walkers on a fine sunny day. The walk was only 6.5kms but quite strenuous, as a result one walker became ill with  dehydration. However after some TLC and water she was able to complete the walk. Walkers shouldn't need reminding that the weather will only become warmer and although we tend to include a coffee stop if possible the carrying of fluid and hat is advisable.
