At the moment the weather forecast for tomorrow 27th April is for scattered showers so at this moment I would not like to actually cancel the walk. However if it should be raining at 10 o'clock it will then be cancelled.

Wednesday 1 walk 27th April.

 At the moment I keep getting conflicting weather forecasts for this Wednesday so a decision will again be made on Tuesday evening as to whether the walk will go ahead.

The walk itself is at Lo Pepin and we will hopefully be leaving La Marina at 10am. For those who haven't done the walk before it includes a coffee stop.

 Walk wednesday 20th April.

After reviewing the weather forecast for tomorrow and the distace to be traveled to the start it has been decided to cancel the proposed walk.

 The walk this Wednesday 20th April is at Lo Pagan, however once again the weather forecast for Wednesday is showing heavy rain. If the walk goes ahead we will be leaving La Marina at 9.15am prompt. I will continue to monitor the weather and a final decision will be made on Tuesday evening.

Prior to this past month we had only ever had one walk in 6 years cancelled due to weather.

 Having consulted the weather forecast for tomorrow 13th April and found that more heavy rain is forecast it has been decided to cancel the proposed walk.

 The walk next Wednesday April 13th is Jacarilla Campo, we will be leaving La Marina at 9.30am. On this walk there is no coffee stop so remember to bring a drink.

Well at last after 4 weeks the weather relented and on Wednesday 6th we were able to enjoy another walk. It was the Rojales Lemon groves walk which had to be altered slightly because one of the tunnels was flooded. 13 walkers took part on a day which started off in a cold wind but ended up quite pleasant. the walk was 9kms.

Walk-Wednesday 6th April

Once again after consulting the weather forecast for the next few days we are going to change the previously published walk from Parque la Montaña to the walk we have been trying to do for the last couple of weeks. Rojales Lemon Groves. The meeting point in Rojales is the Market car park near Mercadona.

It is expected that the path of the hill walk will be too wet and muddy. We will therefore be leaving La Marina at 10am. Should it be raining or forecast to rain on Wednesday, the walk will not go ahead.
