This afternoon Rod and I went to San Miguel to check the conditions as a result it has been decided to cancel the Wednesday 1 walk for tomorrow the 22nd January. The next walk is at Barbaroja on the 29th and we will be leaving La Marina at 9.15am.

The weather forecast for the next 2 days is for more rain if this correct the walk on Wednesday 22nd January will not take place, the ground the walk will cover will be too muddy. A final decision will be made Tuesday afternoon so watch this space.

The walk on Wednesday 22nd January is along the canal at San Miguel we will be leaving La Marina at 9.45am.
The walk on Wednesday 15th January was attended by 58 persons on another fine sunny winters day. The walk was just under 8kms.

Well the first walk of the year went off well. The walk on Wednesday 15th January is Rojales Lemon Groves and we will be leaving La Marina at 10am.
The walk on Wednesday 8th Jan was a new walk in the Jacarilla Campo which everyone seemed to enjoy in the winter sunshine. 53 persons and 2 dogs joined the walk which was just under 8kms with a gain of 131metres.

The walk on Wednesday the 8th January is a new walk Jacarilla campo it is mainly quiet road with a bit of country track. There is no coffee stop on this walk so bring a drink. We will be leaving La Marina at 9.30am
