Wednesday 1

Well another walking season has come and gone. This year our numbers have dwindled considerably from the previous years however we enjoyed some fine walks and plans are in hand fot the next season which starts on Wednesday 5th October. This is the first year we have had so many walks cancelled due to the weather.

The last walk on Wednesday 25th was from Rojales to Heredades a distance of 9.66kms which was completed by 13 walkers on a fine but hot day.

The blog will restart in September when the 1st walk will be announced. Till then I hope everyone has a fine safe summer.

The Wednesday 1 walk for 4th May is the San Miguel Canal. We will be leaving La Marina at 9.45am prompt. There is a coffee stop. At the moment the weather forecast is for showers so providing there is no rain at the time of meeting the walk will go ahead but you may need to bring some form of waterproofs. At last we were able to complete a walk on Wednesday 27th April with the rain holding off till the walk was almost finished. 15 walkers attended for the 8.4km walk. The only piture I have is the route of the walk.
